this IWD I’m thinking of every woman that has been stuck with her abuser this pandemic. thinking of every woman subject to abuse by her husband, her father, her brother. thinking of every woman we have lost because of an honour killing. thinking of every woman attending the aurat march in pakistan, in a country that is only safe for men. thinking of how disproportionately our culture favours men and abuses women. thinking of every woman that just wants to live her life, as her own.
