logically, keiko know’s that the feeling in her gut is silly. she knows that there’s no reason to keep fixing her skirt or make up. she knows that her shoes are the most practical yet cute pair she owns - logically, all of this is known. 

the issue is that doesn’t help.

it’s just yusuke. there’s nothing she doesn’t know about him, they’ve quite literally already kissed ( the reason need not be mentioned. ) before - it’s just . . the boy she’s had feelings for longer than she knew what feelings were. yeah. good ol’ yusuke urameshi.

the scholar now stands outside her home, hands gripping her bag as if it were a life line. she takes a deep breath and closes her eyes, taking the moment remind herself that there was no reason to be so damn nervous.

when she opens her eyes again, yusuke is walking up - cute as ever, should she add. it . . again, does not help.
