Hey, I can make disaster children too.

Meet skekRod the Matchmaker and urIte the Lovebringer. They're shippers, basically.

A long time ago, skekRod witnessed two Gelfling in love and got obsessed with it. He's been the Matchmaker ever since, impulsively matching couples left and right and causing arranged marriages and the drama that comes with it. Because of this, urIte has to come in and clean up his messes. Fate has crossed their paths so much that they're basically partners at this point.

I had the most trouble with skekRod's look. I'm still not happy with it. I'm gonna change his colours and look if the inspiration hits me in the future. I'm fine with how urIte is, but there's still room for improvement, for sure.

My idea for a Skeksis/UrRu pair.

The Skeksis is call SkekThs the Knight. He holds himself to a sort of code, one that he made up but still a code. Throughout his life, he would never raise a blade to an innocent, and he is whole heartedly against the draining of the Gelfling. Though he is still crass, selfish, and can be very cruel, he is not without honor.

His UrRu counterpart, UrArn the Empath, deeply cares for life. He has taught himself how to sense what other lifeforms feel by studying the bond between the UrRu and Skeksis. He uses this to council those in need.

Like UrGoh and SkekGra, these two began to draw closer to each other. UrArn’s development of the art of Empathizing led to SkekThs’ code of honor. They eventually met a gentle Gelfling boy named Talik, a Vapra, who they both ended up falling in love with. Each one for different reasons. For UrArn it was Talik’s kind and gentle nature, especially to those in pain. For SkekThs it was Talik’s courage and unwavering ideals of mercy and truth.

Here are the three of them together. After finding Talik, UrArn becomes very loving and touchy with both Talik and SkekThs. It was similar for SkekThs, though his devotion manifested as being very protective and possessive. Often referring to them as His Gelfling and His UrRu.
