          ❛     i   take     it that things are always a little weird around here.

          his   eyes     fall none to skillfully on the unsettling artifacts littered around the store. most of it was junk - bobble heads   &   shirts - but every so often he catches a glimpse of something unsettling - a jar full of eyes   &   strange markings carved on wood. if there was ever a place to find bootleg haunted items, it was here. 

          ❛     could’ve   sworn     i saw a goblin on the way in here.

          he   tries     to joke; goblins were city creatures of course. although he has noticed that gnomes seem to be more active in the mythical wildlife, where back home they were nothing but pests.
