I think there's something people aren't getting about US Conservatives and their recent attacks on furries/otherkin --
they are not doing this because they know transgender people are reasonable, but otherkin are not.
They are doing this because to them, transgender people are just gender otherkin.
It is exactly the same level of "ridiculousness" in their eyes, and that's why they keep using us to beat each other with. So remember that next time you think about the relevance of otherkin to trans legislation. We are literally the same to them. And considering the overlap between demographics and the things at stake now and in the future, we should become dangerous and highly visible allies.
