Okay, that's adorable. The little ring show off.
Plus the red string of fate? Ooof, what an ending.

Nene’s so convinced she’s been excluded from this ‘perfect family’ by her father, that she can’t see that that family never existed, and that Khem is actually destroying it all by himself.
Khem’s got zero regard for his wife or children, they only exist to enhance his position and prestige. He’s been wrecking his family for years without Nene needing to lift a finger in revenge.
Nene might hate Rak and Kawi thinking they’ve received all the love she was denied, but that’s not the case. Kawi is trapped in the prison that is the family house unable to find the courage to escape, whilst Rak has only discovered her ‘real family’ once she left home and became part the found family units at the coffee and dessert shops.
If Nene was able to see things clearly, she might find everything she ever wanted. Kawi and Rak are good people who would probably accept and welcome their half sister into a new version of their family, if only they knew who she really was.
