⚠️Regarding the new regulations taking place on Aug. 29th and the 'de minimis' exemption⚠️
⚠️VERY IMPORTANT NEWS⚠️ 08/23/2025 Due to the current situation and the new 'de minimis exemption' rule taking place, Spain's Postal Services are totally suspended to the US but for documents, books and gifts under $100. This new rule will take place on August 29th and all orders below $800 that come from outside the US will be subject of tariffs and import duties. The sudden announcement of this new rule and the unclear instructions of how it will be implemented, has forced Spanish Post and other postal services all around the world to stop shipping to the US for a brief period while new procedures are placed to ensure a smooth delivery under the new regulations.
/Regarding your orders in my shop/
For now, since documents, books and gifts under $100 are still allowed, I'll do my best to ship your goods under these three premises. However, the chances of my Post Office totally halting service until new notice are high. If that's the case, I'll contact you and offer to hold your package until the situation improves, or a refund.
/What now?/ It's difficult to say at the moment. This point is not clear enough, but it seems that in the foreseeable future there will be a tariff that it's either paid before shipping or at arrival. The tariff will depend on the imposed % to every different country by the US Government - which is 15% atm though it could change at any time- and maybe other kind of duties decided on value and other criteria. One possibility is that every tariff will have to be paid upfront when the goods are shipped, in which case I'll unfortunately have to add that to the already high shipping costs for the US. In the second scenario, these duties may have to be fulfilled by customers when their orders hit US customs. Please be aware I am not responsible for import duties or extra charges that may apply to your order.
For now we can only wait for further information on the matter and see if the situation improves.
I want to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. Also, thank you for supporting small artists like me. I really hope this situation takes just a few weeks until Post Services in Europe and other countries adjust to the new regulations.
