If something costs $1.99 or anything with .99 cents at the end, and you give them like a dollar or two, most stores won’t bother to give you your penny back, BUT if your change is .99 cent, you sure as hell are getting exact change. They ain’t gonna give you a dollar and be like ‘well it’s just a penny’ if it’s THEIR penny, but when it’s your penny that shit ain’t important apparently.
