She huffed and looked at him as though she were actually offended.

"Arisu..." She sighed, arms wrapping around him as he held her like his life depended on it. Sometimes it truly did feel that way...but at some point, that feeling had truly become mutual, and Arisu had given her a reason to live that defied the way her mind used to work. After the loss of her father, she had worked hard to find logic and reason in life and keep emotion out of it. Perhaps it would make her stronger than her father and keep her fighting much longer than he had been able to.

And then...Arisu had entered her life in the Borderland, had found her in the hospital, and made her comfortable enough to spend that time with him to fall in love - and not be told that he just loved elephants. They had built a life together, even if it still felt fractured at times, and Arisu had forgotten now and then what they had been through that brought them together.

She knew one thing without a doubt though, the love that they shared for one another. She also knew that he had become a stronger person since being with her, she had seen it in his eyes and in his stance. "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to scare you. I'll try to be more careful next time..." She said honestly, coughing slightly as she wiped her cheek from the bit of dirt that had gotten on it.

Usagi was hugging her knees to her chest as she sat next to the couch where Arisu was currently settled. He had tried to get her to sit with him after she had put Akari down for a nap, but she hadn't made it that far and couldn't bring herself to get up. "I don't want you to see them...I don't want you to think this isn't what I want." She whispered, shaking like a leaf as she tried to calm herself down. Somedays, it was just too much, and it weighed her down as though the world rested on her shoulders and she didn't know how to let Arisu help her.

Yep, we're just sore from working sweetie! Don't you fret about a thing! Plus, we have Disney movies and blanket piles to get to! I'll make you some miso soup and we can just have fun while those two sleep it off!
