Why did I join Usborne Books at Home almost 4 years ago? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Well my youngest son (pictured below) had just started school and I was feeling a bit lost! It had been a long time since I had had a job ... although looking after 3 boys is a job in itself (I know you can relate 😳). I didn’t want to work in an office and I really didn’t want to go back to my previous hotel management career - the hours are too unsociable and I wanted to be able to do the school run and be there for all my boys’ assemblies and plays etc.🥰 So when I stumbled across this ‘book business thing’ I had a good feeling ... working from home flexibly around my family, free books for my children (and myself ... Usborne publish a fantastic range of young adult fiction) ... and all for a small set up fee! What’s the worst that could happen? What’s the best that could happen more like! Well this book business thing has grown into something amazing and it’s made such a difference to my family and I! ❤️ I’ve grown in confidence and with my earnings I’ve paid for family holidays, been able to treat my family to those little extras and helped pay the bills! I’ve been on all expenses paid luxury hotel trips and helped schools and charities get free books! I’ve met so many fantastic and inspirational new people and made a lot of new friends along the way ... and now I’m a proud mentor to an award winning team of fantastic ladies who are building their businesses too!
