I watched Looper the other night on DVD - it was ace. If you like fantasy sort of Sci-fi time travel movies then definitely check it out.
The premise - It’s 30 or 40 years in the future - yer man from Third Rock from the Sun (I think it’s him) is a slick assassin who dresses like he’s a greaser from the 50’s. But get this - the people he assassinates are sent back from 30 years FURTHER in the future, where you can’t dispose of a body because everyone is tagged. So he’s an assassin/cleaner in the future for criminals even further in the future. You follow me so far?
So anyway there’s a bad guy in the future-future called the Rain Maker who’s closing all the loops, meaning he’s sending assassins from the future future back to the future to shoot themselves, thus get rid of all Loopers in the future future. Still with me?

So anyway back to yer man from Third Rock from the Sun - his future self turns up ready to get shot, and holy shit it’s Bruce Willis! Yer man is scared, freezes up and Bruce Willis smacks him and runs off.
Then the whole thing goes into a sort of Terminator style kill-the-wee-kid-before-he-becomes-the-bad-guy scenario -explosions, guns going off, Bruce Willis has a wife, there’s this other hot girl too who’s hot in a Southern “could totally kick my ass” kind of way and an intense, creepy wee kid too.
