i imagine it involves a lot of estinien holding nomin from behind. she's not a big instigator of hugs -- i mean, Face 4 Au Ra Problems™ to be honest. she doesn't like the ideas that her horns will poke, especially when she doesn't mean to poke.

otherwise, i actually think hand holding is probably the most common gesture shared between the two of them for that touch comfort and reassurance!

Fic Writer Ask Game

i would actually want to sit down and write for mine and my partner's (@elikaxiv) original world. i mean, i'm chipping away at it as it is, and it's all under wraps at the moment because we are trying so hard to manage the time and motivation to even seeing our first project getting started properly. so like, this wouldn't even just include the writing aspect, this would include me being able to sit down and actually get my concept art started and finalized further to some extent.

i have the outline started, and i have the whole idea situated. i have a list of playable and recruitable characters for the game aspect of it. i have character play styles and overall stats set up for their ideal builds and what could be other potential builds (as intended with full recognition people could break them with the right items or skill allocation). i have the different territories for the continent planned out. i have the conflict and motivation planned. there's a lot.

my partner, on the other hand, has the rough world started in unity to get a general idea for how characters are meant to move around. i bounce ideas around with them to tighten up some parts of where my ideas feel less polished than the others (and it's still highly unpolished at current). they're more working on the 3d assets and putting whatever i end up drawing into the world. but like, it's a process! and it kind of sucks for two people with different levels of adhd.

so yeah...if i could just finish this theoretical completely new 'interactive fic', that project would be it. and this is my genuine answer because the one fic i want to finish above everything is my xv: reimagined. that's the only major fic i'm interested in finishing right now with nothing else on my mind. if anything does come up, that's for that moment and that moment alone.

writers truth & dare ask game

i don't think i outgrew my 'plays pretend with or without plushies on the playground' phase, if i'm being honest.

my first ever oc was for pokémon. her name is alice. i made her when i was, like, anywhere between the ages of 8-10. i redrew her recently along with my first ever original oc i made when i was in 5th grade (so around the ages of 11-12). and i liked making scenarios for them. it was one of my favorite things to do that i, at the time, really wanted to make comics and even want to animate (that's not happening at this point).

anyway, what i'm saying is that i just really liked making characters and making these stories for them and have for a long time. i like creating stories, whether or not people will sit down to read or listen to them. it's possible my dad had a hand to play in this. i grew up around all of his old d&d player's handbooks, bestiaries, and player modules. not to mention that he read me stories growing up, and he would really get into doing voices for all the characters to help immerse me into the stories he read me.

if something resonates with me, i'll write it. whether that ends up being something original that i'm proud to have made, or something based in existing media because i liked it that much to want to.
