Dear beginner fencing friends and families, Thank you so much for joining CFA this summer. I hope you and your fencers find the camps fun, informative and challenging. If you are considering fencing in the fall you have the following options: (All links available on the website in our bio.) 1: Take a session of our Intro or Recreational classes. All equipment is provided (never shared) and it's a fun, no pressure way to get to know the club, take your time to explore options and organize a comfortable commute. 2: Join the Bronze, Silver or Gold program. Bronze is a great package to start with as it includes one private lesson, one class and open fencing any time there is available space. We do ask that that you purchase equipment. 3: Build a custom package. Everything is available A La Carte and there are family discounts available. As with any sport, it takes time to really see if a kid is into it. While it is OK to do an intro or recreational class alone for as long as you like, fencing is a highly technical one on one sport. Adding a private lesson is a game changer and teaches techniques that will build confidence on and off the strip. Private lessons are 20 minutes and we have multiple coaches available. We recommend trying a comprehensive program for a few months with no obligations so you and your family are not locked into a full year commitment financially. It is a better return on your investment while ensuring the fencers develop the right techniques that will keep them interested and successful. I am available for a zoom or in person meeting at the club to go over the options, get to know each other and make sure we are on the same page. Meeting requests can be made via our schedule grid.
