i imagined them going to a summer festival together as kids. tendou nibbles off of ushi's food, though ushi ends up eating the bulk of it. as kids i think they'd be 2 unusual kids who get along and understand each other, even if they freak everyone else out

ushiten week 2026 day 4: space au @teamushiten

I feel like Ushijima would be an astronaut from Earth, sent to make contact with aliens from a faraway planet. There, he meets Tendou during his short stay. After returning to Earth and sharing his findings, Ushijima offers to become the diplomatic representative for Earth, because it's the most logical decision (not at all because of anything related to his new friend Satori), traveling back and forth between the planets. Thus begins a very long distance relationship (though it probably took them a while to recognize it) 😅
