I bitched about Russian teams giving me Scheherazade, Moulin Rouge, Four Seasons, and Romeo and Juliet one after the other, but Igor’s teams giving me POTO AND Le Mis is even worse.
Trusova just got ~75 for an SP with a fall on the 3A. Judges have officially lost it.
My biggest worry regarding H/Ds straight line lift is that it will be invalidated at Skate America when they are up against C/B.
It’s taking time and it’s a bad sign.
ETA: 123.24. I really don’t get what they need to do to score like they are deserved. 56.50 PCS on home ice is a joke. They deserve 2 points higher if not more.
I’m still processing H/D’s FD. There are some stunning choreographic moments in there and their skating is better than ever. For more thoughts I’ll have to watch again.
115.42 for Davis and partner. Let that set in. I think they are getting the 3rd Olympic spot over Z/G.
