T'Mar got off her shift precisely on time. It was long and busy day, but productive as well. She left her station and stepped onto the lift. Her mind was clouded with exhaustion and she didn't notice the lift had stopped on her deck. A young ensgin asked her if she was getting off with a slightly irritated tone. T'Mar stepped off the lift and into the seemingly vacant corridor, with the exception of a few ensigns a lieutenant who were engaged in small conversation. Fatigue was settling in and she desperately needed to meditate. T'Mar looked around her quarters for her meditation mat, then remembered that she had stored it in the compartment in the side of her bed. She spread the mat on the cold floor of her quarters and lit a small candle, then preceded to calm her mind and thoughts, and to prepare for the busy day ahead.
