I actually started this page in January, didn't finish it until August I think. I held off posting cause I also started paintings out of a few of these, but those'll come later I guess!

The goal here was really just practice different sketching styles and seeing what I could emphasize and draw differently.

(not really a series but kinda part of the same au) part 1

before the other dipper returns to his own reality he tells mabel this: that chain won't hold forever. will hadn't reacted, only funneled more of his energy into the magic swapping their minds back, obeying like he always does. obeying like a docile lamb ready for the slaughter. the other dipper had spend his time flinching from will's voice and more than his disgust of their lived there had been terror of will. all encompassing, world shattering terror. when mabel looks at will she doesn't see it. beyong his abilities, beyond his magical pottential, beyond his knowledge will is a soft creature. eager to please and obey. when mabel looks at him she doesn't what had the other dipper as terrified as he was. but other dipper had been so different from her's that maybe other will was also. dipper returns and sometimes he looks at will, just looks without wanting anything done. and he look at mabel and it has her tightening her hold on the chain she holds and feel it's electric power, it's contrant drain. the idea of it breaking seems unfathomable to her and they only grows stronger with each day. the will from the other dimension must have been different from this one. very different to have not only other dipper so spooked but her own contemplate will like this. she starts putting just a bit more of her lifeforce behind the binding.
