This is the 100th ANNIVERSARY of Veteran's Day, honoring all of those who have served our country military in War or Peace time. Which means that I have the Honor of belonging to a very LARGE FAMILY ORIENTED ORGANIZATION. On that same token, I also have the distinct HONOR of playing Role of an UNSUNG AMERICAN VETERAN HERO, MR ROBERT SMALLS on the Silver Screen. The First African American to pilot an NAVAL IRONCLAD WAR VESSEL. WHAT HE DID IN 1863 WAS A MAJOR CATALYST THAT DIRECTLY CREATED THE WORLD WE LIVE IN TODAY. NOT ONLY WAS HE A NAVY VETERAN WHO RETIRED AS NAVAL CAPTAIN. BUT HE WAS A DUAL MILITARY BRANCH SERVICE MEMBER. HE ALSO ARMY VETERAN WHO RETIRED AS A BRIGADIER GENERAL. FORMER PRESIDENT BARRACK OBAMA CAN’T TOUCH MR ROBERT SMALLS IN MY BOOK.
