#throwbacksaturday pic to one of my favorite weeks of the year...the Western Southern Open! 🎾 . Played 2nd singles tonight at my USTA 3.5 league match and won, 6-0, 6-2👍🏻 it’s my 3rd singles win of the season and it feels so darn good!!! . . I’m coming off a 2 year stretch where I was so frustrated with my game, I was ready to stop competing. I was mentally done. I took a season off, but didn’t quit playing. Now, I’ve come back and it feels so good to finally have turned a corner. I feel fresh & focused. I am able stay calm and grounded during the high pressure points. That mini break was just what my body and mind needed 👍🏻 . . Burn out can happen in any sport. It doesn’t look or feel the same for everyone either. It’s okay to shift your energy, take a break, and regroup. 15. Make my own ice cream popsicles- I love ice cream, a lot. So why not transform it into a new creation?

16. Do something with my sister before she moves to Costa Rica- My little sister is going to Costa Rica in August for school & I am going to miss her way too much. I really want to do something fun with her before she leaves.

17. Attend the USTA tennis tournament- My hometown of Kalamazoo annually hosts the United States Tennis Association National Championship at Kalamazoo College. I have been going the past six years & I don’t plan on missing this years either!
