He’s certainly not about to argue with this one. Oh no, he’d much rather lean in and feel Carlos’ lips pressed together with his own, feel his other’s steady breaths, touch that beautiful skin. And so that’s what he does.

He strides forwards, hands reaching up to cup either side of Carlos’ jaw, drawing the male in for a soft kiss that he allowed to linger for perhaps just a moment too long. And in it all of him is there to be felt. Something a little playful about it, mingling with love, with tenderness, with that extra something that no one can really put their finger on.

If you could really consider it too long, what with time being broken and all.

Drawing back he let a smile cross his lips while thumbs took to drawing small circles against his scientist’s cheeks. Even without the contact of lips he’d like to stay there and look for just a moment longer, at least until he speaks—
