original undertale
Hotland, Boy did Sans hate the long tedious trips here, even his shortcuts took more time than he’d like just to get here, mostly because the place had a very limited amount of them that didn’t drop you straight into a pool of lava and getting yelled at by a grumpy fish in armor didn’t make things any better about this place. Guess part of it was his own fault he didn’t exactly do the job he was supposed to be doing, then again exactly how many humans came by here on a daily basis? One and that one had run right past him while he was “asleep” sure he said he’d protect the kid and he did…kinda… Getting yelled at gave them time to get a headstart. Now he had mew…round half an hour before he had to be at his next point to meet them and- “Oh dearie~ Where do you think you’re going?”the skeleton paused when he heard the voice speak up and sure enough there at her stand was Muffet her arms crossed and eyes narrowed at him her hair cut short and out in to those pigtails, the cutesy look that masked her age quite well. He had half a mind to port right out of there but he knew good and well he wouldn’t get too far with the limitations here “I heard you placed an order on your tab for you and a strange human-like monster.”Word sure travels fast, doesn’t it? Guess he should have expected as much when she had spiders in all corners of the underground, her eyes, and ears on all the gossip and news. Especially about her boys and their life in Snowdin, “Can’t say you’re wrong, I mean they were pretty human-like.” With a small laugh, the spider stood from her seat leaning gracefully over the table. Her head resting comfortably in four of her six arms, the other two curled around the elbows of the others. “Ahuhu, I’m sure they were dear, but there are two problems with that. One the last thing you need is to run up that tab more and second, the word is that little human doesn’t like spiders. Do you see what I’m getting at Comic?” “What? One your little Spy-ers reported that to you right?”he asked suspiciously with a roll of his eye lights. This rightfully earned quite a bewildered look from the spider lady, one of her hands instantly moving to rest on her hip gawking at him in disbelief. You’d think by now she’d realize Sans was smart enough to tell those spiders were doing more than just waiting to be picked up. “I’m twenty-three I think I can tell when a spider is playing investigative journalist for ya. I’ll tell ya this much your little messenger got it wrong the kid ain’t hurt any spiders.”least not this run anyway.“Look I love talking with cha’ but I got maybe fifteen minutes and I gotta go.”Her deep eyes watched tensely as the short skeleton walked away from her booth and she didn’t try and stop him instead simply sternly warn him,“I’m merely advising dear, Stay out of my way when they cross my path. I won’t allow you lend a hand like when they battled your brother.”
