Firework!
We shared Katie's sentiment - how could you not sing "Firework" this weekend?!
And it made me think of all the groups who performed "Firework" over the last year of shows - literally almost every single group worked the Katy Perry hit into their show. It's just too perfect of a fit for all things Unified Theater stands for - self expression, joy, and loving yourself exactly how you are.
We miss our students terribly during the summer (luckily the crew at Elmwood gives us a little summer loving). We miss how they let their colors burn and sing and dance and generally lift our spirits. Without getting too cheesy (ok... I probably already crossed the cheesy threshold), we just want to thank all the amazing Unified Theater actors, leaders, singers, crew, and supporters for sharing their fireworks with the world!
