Giving Back
The season of giving thanks and gratitude is upon us! Our staff in the Division of Student Affairs have an opportunity to give back to our students every day in so many different ways. One way collectively that we support our students is through the UT Outpost, one of our newest programs with Student Emergency Services in the Office of the Dean of Students.
This important initiative was launched earlier this year to address food insecurity on campus, as well as provide students with to professional attire for internship and job interviews.
As a Division with close to 1,000 full-time employees, we want to support the important work of the UT Outpost by achieving 1,000 pounds of donations, including food for the food pantry and needed items for the career closet. We’re encouraging our entire team to participate in the UT Austin Student Affairs Thanksgiving Challenge, Nov. 5-26, and help the UT Outpost continue to provide healthy food and business clothing to our students!
