On 8th and 9th December, Utahloy International School Guangzhou (UISG) Drama students brought William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night to Guangzhou audiences. The play was the first in an annual Shakespeare Under the Stars series, which will take place outdoors, beneath the tree in the EY Amphitheatre. “The idea is to perform the works of Shakespeare as they were originally meant to be performed, without microphones, without all the bells and whistles commonly associated with modern theatre,” says MYP/DP Drama teacher Shane Kennedy.
