Ladies and gentlemen I present to you uterus cake 3.0! This year we ate the cake (And cupcakes) in the order in which they were removed from me. First my uterus and fallopian tubes, then my left ovary, and finally the left. The removal of my ovaries left me in surgical menopause, which is far stronger and a never-ending (or so it seems) version of menopause. Surgical menopause is widely unresearched and thus there is a lot of unknowns. I'm lucky to have joined up with a group of women who are experiencing it as well and can help me navigate my future.
