Guess who just found out she has 💖Endometriosis💖
Found out because I passed out at work and had to be rushed to the hospital. I lived but my left ovary is trying to make life harder.

Getting a bunch of half diagnoses from doctors that tell me I need to go to a specialist bc they’re “90% sure it’s xyz, but can’t officially diagnose” because they’re not a specialist is so stupid.
It’s like having a collectible that you know is worth money but can’t get graded, but instead of being a fun thing to have it’s EwOuchOwwww and instead of being worth money it costs three manillion dollars and everyone looks at you weird when you bring it up.
a serious post about pissing and pelvic floor dysfunction this time, for the good of the realm.
to pass along what i've learned from physical therapists: you shouldn't be going to the bathroom every 1-2 hours. you shouldn't have to push to urinate, you should be able to relax and let it flow. urine stream should be steady, last about 8 seconds long, and you'll pee about 1-2 cups on average. you shouldn't be waking up to pee more than 1-2 times a night. you shouldn't feel stressed or discomfort when your bladder is full. you should be able to successfully empty your bladder and no longer feel like you have to pee when your stream ends.
concerning sex, you should be able to empty your bladder without straining before/after intercourse. if you experience orgasm that includes a water show, well, that could be the nature of the game (are you using the rose or a hitachi vibrator? those are common culprits), or it could be pelvic dysfunction.
if your pee is off-color (it should be light wheat to yellow - clear is overhydrated) or has consistent abundance of "floaties", that's something you may want to discuss with your GP.
physical therapist appointment today! wahoo
woke up mild-moderate pain lower left quadrant. did intestinal I LOVE YOU massage, helpful. belly and muscles not as tight as this weekend, but i still feel my pelvic floor muscles trying to pull in. it takes conscious effort to relax them.
somebody wants to come over? we celebrate a party here! i also got some opi*ds & medical weed in my drawer for some extra fun. well... i had other plans for today & tomorrow than my body. it sucks
Sunday Things #5
Apparently, the second I started feeling better, I forgot I had surgery. Not completely. Just enough to become a problem. 😂 Last week, I was talking about how strange it felt to finally start feeling like myself again. This week? I apparently took that as a challenge. I went out to dinner. I picked up kids. I had sleepovers. I baked cupcakes. I got my nails done. I went swimming. I…
Fuck you, Punk.
