Atlantale

So to say the least, we had a blast at Atlantale! We got to meet some amazing people, like @spoopy-gaster, @maniaknight, @loverofpiggies, @alainaprana, @xedramon, @pidgerinbalt and so many more (I don’t know if it is even possible to tag everyone)! Also got to hang out with some old friends @epixcosplay321, @sora-the-syke, @mikrebyle, and some people I can’t tag on here :’(. Not only that, but we met some fantastic fans and had a blast hanging out with them.

The area was just buzzing with positive Undertale vibes. We only wish it could have lasted forever! (and that we could have bought more stuff >.>;)

Doing the cosplay contest was such a amazing experience as well! We couldn’t have done it without the help of Spoopy, Doodle, Day, and our friend Morgan. Not to mention the huge help from the rest of the Atlantale staff and the Artists that judged. You guys are freaking amazing! Congratulations to the winners as well!

We honestly want to thank everyone for being so amazing and making this event so special! There is no getting over the feeling that we felt during our time there. We left feeling inspired to push on and get back into everything we love! The event rekindled a burning love for Undertale that is stronger than ever inside us.

To top it all off we also got engaged! We are so happy to say that we got engaged at an Undertale event! The game has always meant something special to us and brought us closer together.

Thank you Atlantale

I know con depression is a thing people get. I have always been an artist or vendor at various events and I never ever felt what con depression may have felt like until after Atlantale happened.

I've been there from the moment I encouraged Spoopy-Gaster with a Tumblr reply all the way to me and Spoopy being the last ones out the building after Atlantale ended. It's quite the surreal roller coaster ride with various high and low points. Considering neither of us ran events like this before, there was definitely a lot of high expectations and some criticisms made about it.

All we can do is do our best, and do our best is what we did! We stayed Determined made it happened, with many people in this wonderful conmunity that supported us along the way. They may have not been there since the humble beginnings, it felt like they are.

Seeing the event happen on February 17, 2018, I can't find the words to describe my feelings. I was never good at expressing feelings with words, so I will borrow some words from our beloved Prince of the Monsters, Asriel:

"Even if they barely know you, it feels like they really love you."

I never ever been to any event in all three years I've been going where there was so much love, admiration, and good vibes everywhere. Regardless of someone's upbringing, how they choose to identify themselves, who they prefer to love, everyone was kind to each other.

I know most of the artists are unable to leave their tables at all because all of them were overwhelmed by the amount of love and appreciation from both old and new fans. I myself manned my table for all 7 hours of the event, I couldn't even say hi to my fellow artists! I appreciate everyone who made it to my table to say Howdy to me, because I definitely never experience lines like at my table before (it went out the door I felt like). I even met a few Sonic fans who followed my Sonic art for MANY years during my beginnings on deviantart.

I hope when Toby Fox sees all the photos and videos of this event, that it puts a huge smile on his face.

Howdy, friends! Atlantale yesterday was a BLAST. My table was hit pretty hard all 7 hours of the event so I never left my table once at all nor eat or relaxed. I never had an actual line to my booth before, it was amazing. All our artists did amazing and there were smiles everywhere. I am happy to be a part in running this fantastic event and look forward to watching all the videos and photos taken at the event :) I got to sign a few posters, autograph books, and badges, feels great! This is my table after the show is over. I had more pillows. The only thing I sold out of was Fresh pillowcases, so you could say that I was way more prepared than most of the artists. Many of the other art tables sold out of stock within the first hour from what I heard! AW YEAH! Just settled our hotels for Atlantale!  This is going to be one heck of a trip for us!

We are so excited! Time to perfect the budget, and then we are good to go!
