The Americans’
utter disregard for natural life
in the eyes of the narrator, is one of the gravest sins possible and amputates them from the biological world. Their blatant flaunting of new technologies and devices separates amputates them from the surrounding world, granting a vast power unto the Americans themselves. While their separation amputation grants them strength, this new found power is dangerous,
subverting and reducing the influence of the natural landscape.
