Goofs aside, this episode was an absolute cinematic masterpiece w the zone, flames grief, flow, rip mistral, skrilly yay and the Lomedy not dead and just being on an ice spike was peak

SUCH A GOOD EPISODE :D I'm totally biased tho, I think every uu episode is a good episode. BUT IT WAS A REALLY GOOD EPISODE!!!
Flame's panic over losing Lomedy has me jumping with joy. I promise I'm not sadistic-
But it shows so much character development, Flame has gone from capitalizing solo in all his titles to literally avoiding a fight to try and find his friend. Was he under geared, yeah, but his immediate priority wasn't to restock or fend of Mistral, it was to find Lomedy and make sure he was safe.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT HECK YES WE WIN!
I thought Skrilley was going to die this episode. I was so sure he was going to die. He had the 'tragic death' vibe to him.
AND HI FLOW!! HI FLOWTIVES!!! HI :DDDDDDD
I love new characters I know from outside uu smp, it has me pointing at the screen going 'I know them!!' like a 5 year old.

WE GOT ANOTHER DOOMED MENTOR AND STUDENT!!! Flowtives and Mistral! I was thrilled to learn that Flow thought of Mistral as a friend. Like that was his best student, his friend, the guy he sparred and trained with ALL the time, and then he gets killed. I wonder if Flow thinks it's his fault for not training Mistral better. Mmmmm ANGST!
But also how they had it coming. They got into Flame's head to throw him off guard and it WORKED, he dropped his freaking sword, I was shell shocked when he did that. Lomedy means so freaking much to Flame, their friendship is his second priority and he regrets not making it his first. I hope next episode Lomedy gets to drag Flame around instead of the opposite bc bro did not sign up to get stuck in the Mist.
Flow and Mistral failed to account for Flame's relentless refusal to end on a loss. Throughout all of Unstable, Flame always comes back for a rematch, we saw this in Invis Arc, he hunted Wemmbu down even with the rumors of him being dead, he's persistent. If you want to beat Flame you can't just beat him and let him get away because he will come back and beat you. On top of that...
I didn't think Lomedy was dead till Flame gave a freaking eulogy and then I thought this man did us dirty with an off screen death to deny closure. HE GAVE. AN EULOGY. AND IT WAS REALLY FREAKING SAD >:( You could hear his voice cracking, I am not okay. The brick was not kissed. Torchflower stop giving me angst.
Back to Flow, he said Mistral wasn't a bad leader and protected his people, which we have no direct evidence of, but is really interesting to think about, how Mistral wasn't necessarily evil, not a good person of course, but not evil. Of course Flow is biased as heck bc a) Mistral is dead and b) Mistral was his friend and student. But its fun to think about :)
Flame giving Mistrals armor and sword to Flow felt mocking but also a bit genuine, like here some of your friends stuff, and then it 100% became mocking after burning his mace and elytra. Like- bro like- okay that was cruel but he did think Flow killed Lomedy so. Justified ig?!?!
Flow's a tragic villain now and I wanna see more of him. Especially since Flame started beef over nothing now.
HI LOMEDY GLAD UR ALIVE BUT DO KNOW THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE DIED FOR U SO NO MORE OF THAT PLEASE.
I hope Skrilley stays around, especially since he lost all his friends, and that Lomedy gets whacked around a bit for being stuck on top of an ice spike. He deserves it.
Skrilley and Flame also bonding over losing their friends. Like what a tragic thing to bond over but Skrilley became such a ride or die for Flame after that, and Flame kept yelling at Skrilley to run because he didn't want to lose anyone else. They trauma bonded and Skrilley is now very dear to me, if anything happens to him I'm killing everyone.
ALSO THE CINEMATIC AS LOMEDY RETURNED LIKE- he means so much to Flame and Flame will never say it to his face(He did during Law but now he's just being the fakest idgafer).
Last thing, Flame locking in has to be my favorite think in all of Unstable, like to see this man go dead silent and start killing everybody has me cheering. And it's horrifying too, like the mental image of someone just becoming a blank slate, an emotionless killing machine? Do not wanna be fighting that dude, I'll say that.
Glad Torchflower is doing well, can't say much about all the other duos. Tax duo has been missing for a month, Cartwings is strained, and Jamato is about to wreck Devious duo.
So glad I could go from weeping over an eulogy to experiencing epic hype aura moments as Flame locked in.
