all my digital works are GONE

around 2 weeks ago my ipad had completely stopped turning on, just.. RANDOMLY, completely out of my control, didn't break or fall or anything, worst part? I DIDNT HAVE ANY BACKUP ON MY DRAWINGS AT AALLL. oh my god words cannot describe how absolutely DEVASTATED and BUMMED out i feel especially with all of the works in progress i had, i was working on yuri right before the ultimate shut down ffs😭 man i had so many unfinished works I'd planned to share.. Luckily i did manage to save a few screenshots that i had sent to friends during drawing which is not a lot and sadly none of my major works but I will post them later on in order to at least archive them..

it sucks that this could've been completely preventable if i would've just backed up my drawings, so i've been taking this as a lesson to.. just do that next time. I'm still relatively new to the digital art space as a traditional artist transitioning into digital and I believe this may be a canon event :')

I'll be taking this inconvenience as a way to start fresh! (trying not to think about what i lost KMS KMSKMSKMSKMS) and this is why i haven't been on as much lately(⁠´⁠;⁠︵⁠;⁠`⁠)

The good news i do have is that despite my ipad being unrepairable, it was still on a 2 year guarantee, meaning i was able to acquire a new one for a total of $0 due to the fact that it was faulty, so i can't complain about that🙏
