Hey by the way each June (the second Saturday, this year June 11th) my unitarian universalist church (that means all religions or lack thereof are welcome, it's not strictly Christian) holds a festival called the Strawberry Festival with vendors, food, sometimes music and games, and of course the used and antique bookstore.

Anyways we're looking for vendors so if you live in Massachusetts here's a link to the church website: https://ucmu.org/

I'm the administrator, and I still need to put up the strawberry festival page, but for now, you can contact us through the number and/or email on the site or DM me wherever.

We intend to put a new banner up as soon as possible. Our church is a safe space for EVERYONE no matter their race or anything else. I assume everyone reading this agrees with us on this matter, but if any of you don't: please don't vandalize a statement of support for a group of people who face hate and discrimination. It won't change our minds.

If you want to be a part of this, you can voice your support or donate on our website (https://ucmu.org), or any blm charities. We're sooo thankful for how many people have already. Even if people like those who cut our banner are out there, there are so many wonderful people like all of you. 💚

Note: We talked to the police, who were polite and helpful. They were very thorough and were there for hours. A number of officers were involved all the way up to the police chief. I'm endlessly thankful that they did not validate fears about calling police in this situation and instead showed so much support. They did not want acts of hate to continue. I wish all police were like that.

Thank you all very much for being so supportive. All of you at this church, and anyone who supports black people, you're great. I'm glad to know that's the majority. Have a nice day. ^-^

Honor the wonderful people in Mendon's history by doing the right thing and supporting the oppressed, even if there may be hateful people out there who oppose it. Racism is not strong enough to stop everyone who wants to be better and cause change.

Sorry for the hiatus, things have been chaotic. 

After a brief discussion at the coffee hour the other day, it has been suggested that I resurrect this social media along with perhaps creating some others. Once those are made, I’ll link to them here as well.

I look forward to digging through my brain for content ideas again!

Church Livestreams

Hello everyone! We hope you've been enjoying our church service livestreams. I have a couple of things to talk about today:

1. Feedback? We know we need to do better audio + visual tests in advance (there was a looottt of adjusting this time 😬), but what else do you have to say about it? What would you like to see? A particular music piece you'd like to hear? Subject matter you'd like to hear about? Anything? Not all requests will be fulfilled, but we'd like to try our best~ So send us a message/ask, email us at [email protected], or send a carrier pigeon or crow with a message in an undecipherable code to 13 Maple St, Mendon, MA 01756.

2. This blog has been rather inactive lately, and I don't like that. So if you have any suggestions for what you'd like to see on here, or have anything you'd like to ask, please send us an ask or message us!
