Okaaaay but hear me out.

What if there was a universe where Zanka and Jabber were together then broke up because Zanka chose to stick to his strict family’s projects for him and left Jabber behind when his family disapproved their relationship. Zanka then do his best to please them but it never seems to be enough. And sometimes he thinks about when Jabber and him used to hang out and it was the closest he felt to freedom, memories becomming a burden to bear.

Then several years after the breakup, he meets Jabber again. And Jabber seems to have moved on just fine, like they never existed. It has a HUUUGE impact on him.

Except Jabber hasn’t really moved on.

And freedom is not entirely out of Zanka's reach.

the french government wants to fuck up paid sick leave for civil servants.

basically, their plan is :

- you're not paid for the first three days of your sick leave (which is already the case in several admins and it was proved that it doesn't significantly decrease the number of sick leave. it just makes them longer bc people would rather have one really sick leave than several and risk not getting paid for several days, several times)

- you're only paid at 90% for the rest of your sick leave

bite bite scream bite. i'm so fucking tired of governments using us as scapegoats.

what do they want ? people who transmit diseases to their coworkers, so that everyone is sick ? coworkers who will in turn transmit it to their families who will transmit it to their coworkers and classmates etc etc ?

people who are underproductive because they're sick ?

who will develop much more serious illnesses because they didn't get treatment early because they couldn't afford to lose that much money ?

have they thought about WHY people have to take sick days so much??? about exhaustion, about burnout, about la fonction publique having much more fragile people than the private sector because there they get thrown out for not being productive enough? of course not, we're all a bunch of lazy entitled useless workers anyway

fuck that.

bring me back le front populaire et les jours heureux et le NFP. bring me back constructive solutions and something to look forward to instead of this far-right stench that is making us all choke to death slowly but surely
