Shut Up and Write Event is tomorrow!!
The University Writing Program is holding a Write-In event for Professional Writing minors the second week of February. It will be a short but focused time devoted to writing. The goal is to get some writing done that is not for a class assignment – the type of writing you would not normally take time out of your school day to accomplish – but rather begin writing the first chapter of your future novel, edit or re-write a short story you’ve already written, write a new poem or even polish your resume or cover letter.
Ideally, this event will help you prepare for your future career and allow you more practice in the writing field. And we get to do it all together, so we can share ideas or help one another revise if necessary. Can’t wait to write with you all!
