As the starter of #uxkitteh, I saw this tweet today under the UX kitteh hash tag and I was mostly excited that #uxkitteh was identified as meme and already has a hater. (things aren't popular until someone hates on it right?) The other part is that I don't really understand how people become so mean. I assume the tweet is directed to my instructor at General Assembly, Christina. Christina is an amazing instructor and a bad ass in UX. I don't understand how anyone can have such vile words for someone they don't even really know.
In any case, I was inspired to make the following grumpy cat image.
Also, #uxkitteh is awesome for so many reasons! Contextualizing UX concepts within silly cat photos is extremely helpful for bookmarking nodes of information in the bombardment of serious knowledge from my UXDi course at General Assembly.
