Beware Those Who Trust Their Politicians

Uzalu has an interesting theory about why the frothing at the mouth hatred for Trump.

The Left in the US had the mistaken belief that they could trust their politicians and political system, only to have that gloriously shattered by the God-Emperor’s ascension to his golden throne.

They weren’t crying about Trump, but about the loss of their loving, trusted, benevolent government.  This is why you have people who think the Clintons and Obamas can do no wrong, while pretty much everyone is willing to admit that Trump can do wrong.

So, what does prorogation of parliament mean?  Well, Parliament prorogues naturally.  Which is why I stayed out of it, until I learned a bit more.

So, Borris Johnson’s prorogation of parliament comes 4 days before the usual prorogation day.  This is also pretty usual to do when the debate has happened, the course has been decided, to prevent idiots from derailing the entire train.  It’s been 3 years since the referendum happened.  All of the debate has happened.  All of the negotiations have happened.
