Not me accidentally creating an Lumberjack AU where the two peregrine vamps adopt a new fledling Pyro just turned
Long story short on how this happened under the cut
Pyro and Owen got revived by mysterious circunstances as humans after the whole vsmp events, left Oakhurst to live in a nice cottage in the woods together but oh no they had to leave bc evil vampire doppengagers of themselves tried to kill them and failed, they succeed in defeating them and save a town;
Owen by yet another mysterious circunstance becomes vampire once more, and Pyro has the chance to be turned willingly this time, which he accept and Owen becomes his sire;
Scott is dead in this AU and Drift and Shelby´s whereabouts are unknown;
Pyro has an epiphany one day and realizes Louis might be alive as well thus giving Owen hope and both decide to travel through a place called Siren´s call, an inn where Louis could be located as well as some minor places where he could be around in Owen´s memory. Pyro and Owen separate briefly;
Pyro is starved as hell and once again makes a fledgling mistake and enters a library, manipulating a spefic scholar that reminded him oh so much of himself to a more secluded part of the place and bit him, but he couldn´t just kill them due to his new moral compass and ended up turning them in the process;
Owen takes the news suprisingly well, and took upon him and Pyro the responsability to teach the new fledging the vampire way, and the scholar revealed his name as Eli and he is pretty much a copycat of Pyro in terms of lifestyle, but he´s very kind and cautious in contrast of Pyro´s recklessness;
Pyro thinks Owen will be really pissed about the whole ordeal, but when they talk in private, much to his surprise, Owen takes it well and explains that the new fledgling needs strong figures in his life, and arguing wouldn´t solve anything;
And then both decide to adopt him and take him along on their quest to find Louis;
Both Pyro and Owen are progressively relearning how to be vamps again alongside the new fledgling;
Eli´s pov and characteristics:
Eli´s POV of the whole thing:
Eli is tricked by Pyro to guide them into a more seclude part of the library, where is bit by a very apologetic but starving Pyro;
Eli obviously didn´t took it too well, and almost ruined Pyro´s cover and before Pyro could leave he clings to the man like no tomorrow because he needed help and guidance on how to deal with his new predictment, and Pyro reluctantly accepts to help him;
Eli is very wary of both vampires at first but slowly warm up to them to tell how his life was before becoming a vampire and is fascinated at the whole prospect of powers and abilities, but he´s also extremely conflicted about leaving his humanity behind;
Eli commits first murder on a drunk sailor which he hesitates a lot at first but once the drunk sailor reveals he took advantage of other scholars like him he lets his insticts do the talking. He obviously hated the experience afterwards. Pyro and Owen promise to help him control his urges better (While are secrely proud of him)
