The sun god was confused - while the holidays like this weren’t something they really celebrated in the old days, mortals doing it now seemed fun. So of course, someone like Apollo or Aphrodite would’ve picked it up and spread the cheer. ( In hindsight, Hermes was probably the first to really witness it. ) Gentle hands began to open the large bag, only for the young man to pull the bear out.
And, much like a child given a new toy, a squeal came from his lips. Something to nap with and lay on! Something comfortable! ( Something to hug, late at night, when missing Hyacinthus and Cassandra and Daphne and... That train of thought was snipped immediately. )
“Thank you, uncle! Tell Perse I said thank you, too! ‘m gonna go nap with it right now!”
Mortal naps were nice, and Apollo loved them maybe a biiiiit too much.
