“Hey... Uncle? I have a question.”
It seems it’s a question Apollo wants a truthful answer to, but knows that the truth or a lie will hurt regardless. The Archer’s fingers play with his shirt, playing with a hole he had to sew up later, only to stop playing with them. Sitting himself next to his dear uncle, Apollo wastes no time in snuggling up close. Despite the difference in what both represent: medicine being a gift for life whilst his uncle represented death, he was entirely happy with Hades’ presence.
“... Do you remember... Hyacinthus?”
Ah, here it was (again).
“... What did you... Do... With his soul?”
“We won? Perfect! All I can see is our victory on the horizon! Go Team Fabulous! In celebration, I’ll treat you all to a serenade by the fire while Archer makes hot cocoa.”

the trojan war ; HEADCANONS.
Apollo regrets a lot of his decisions in the Trojan War. Quite a lot. Don’t ask him to talk about the war, he’ll go from happy and cheery to clamming up and avoiding the topic all together. Don’t press Apollo about the Trojan War. He’ll get angered easily. He tries to forget it, tries to push it away: especially with Artemis.
Aphrodite, on the other hand, doesn’t believe that what she did (tossing together Helen and Paris) was inherently wrong. While seen as a war goddess in Sparta, she was not a war goddess everywhere else, limiting her viability in assisting anyone in the war. She doesn’t fully care about the ramifications, but she does feel guilty over all the death caused over her putting two cute people together in a romance.
@higaxbana asked: Hades gently placed a big bag in front of Apollo there since wrapping it up would be a hassle and a big give way there, it was honestly his wife idea to get him a big golden teddy bear just because how bright the sun god was and knowing Apollo well it was the only thing that came to mind on what to get him other than a stuffed dog. "From Persephone and I. Happy Holidays, Apollo."
“Eh? What is it, uncle?”
The sun god was confused - while the holidays like this weren’t something they really celebrated in the old days, mortals doing it now seemed fun. So of course, someone like Apollo or Aphrodite would’ve picked it up and spread the cheer. ( In hindsight, Hermes was probably the first to really witness it. ) Gentle hands began to open the large bag, only for the young man to pull the bear out.
And, much like a child given a new toy, a squeal came from his lips. Something to nap with and lay on! Something comfortable! ( Something to hug, late at night, when missing Hyacinthus and Cassandra and Daphne and... That train of thought was snipped immediately. )
“Thank you, uncle! Tell Perse I said thank you, too! ‘m gonna go nap with it right now!”
Mortal naps were nice, and Apollo loved them maybe a biiiiit too much.

“Thanks! Nice teddy!”
“... I made it? Ahaha! I made it! I don’t understand the ‘Santa’ part of this hat but I’ll enjoy it! Thank you!”
