White Quartz really didn’t understand why she’d gotten assigned to this mission.

Supposedly, gem reproduction had resumed on Earth (albeit at a much slower rate than before) and Blue Diamond wanted to find out why. She couldn’t really imagine why she’d care, but Blue Diamond got involved in anything related to Earth so it might have just been that. And since White Quartz was Blue Diamond’s little “Earth ambassador” (more like glorified souvenir), she was now back on Earth soil for the first time since she’d been taken, and she was standing in front of a strange structure.

She sighed, starting inside.

White Quartz was nervous.

She hadn’t been away from Blue Diamond for so long since she’d been picked up from Earth, and this time it was with another Gem she’d never met before. She kept her hands tangled together behind her back, examining the other from behind her glasses.

“...hello,” she greeted with a short bow. “Are you the Gem I’m supposed to be with? I’m White Quartz, Blue Diamond’s attendant.”

She’d been told to refer to herself as such, even if it wasn’t entirely true.

Open ~ Homeworld’s Fighter

“Aaaaaauuugghh!” White Quartz growled in frustration, pounding against the wall of the cell.

She’d been put in “time out” again. She could feel her skin practically boiling with the anger as she pounded her club against every surface she could find, save for the destabilizer shield in front of the cell. She knew she had a neighbor, and that the guards could hear her, but she didn’t care. She just wanted to get out of the cell. Surely fighting prisoners wasn’t worth more than a few hours of time out, right?

She heard someone tell her to stop and snapped angrily. “Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!” the words tumbled from her mouth as she swung her club again, not even making eye contact with the person who had spoken.

- Forgetting names so bad that she gives literally everyone nicknames

- Fighting prisoners and taking their gems

- Hoarding in small areas. Mostly ships, esp cargo ones

- Packing gems into jars

- Forgetting who she is and asking her equals why they keep insisting her name is Quartz when she's obviously a Sapphire/Turquoise/Chalcedony

- Glitching randomly like she's hit a shield

- Hiding other gems' things among the gems she hoards

- Insisting to go on missions to Earth and then complaining about how gross Earth is))

“I’m not corrupted! Do I look corrupted?” He cried, motioning to himself, tears springing in his eyes. “I’m not…”

He kept his claw gauntlets out, still scared, “Then leave. Leave with me..” He offered, extending his hand slowly.

“That’s not what I meant,” she growled. “Like this,” she gestured to the gem on her throat.

“Let’s go then,” she said. “I’m not going to take your hand, just follow me back to my ship, and we’ll go.”

White Quartz huffed slightly, rolling her eyes. “It’s either fight me, and lose, or come with me, and be taken. Your choice. I don’t have all day,” she put her club on her shoulder. “Yellow Diamond is waiting.”
