Connor had been a deviant for a few days now. It was different and he wouldn’t say it was easy but it was better. He’d reunited with Hank who had invited him to stay with him and Cole, who had deviated after him and seemed to be taking it much worse. 

It was a weekday and Hank had gone to work, only after Connor had insisted that he could help Cole figure out this whole deviant thing. It would be tough but he had to try. 

“Cole, I know it’s difficult but you have to listen to me. I can help.”

It was a few days after the incident in the bank and Connor was only just getting back to normal. His LED had been a solid yellow for two whole days and he’d been distracted. He’d had to reset some systems before he could fully return to how he had been before. 

He was in the car with Hank on the way to the precinct when all that went down the drain again. They passed a group, and in the centre a man with his face. 

“Hank. Stop. It’s him.” He said, unsure what they should do but being adamant they had to do something.

was it easier to fight -60 because you hate yourself so much?

I wouldn’t say it was easy. It was necessary yes but it had nothing to do with my self esteem.
