After stepping out of the dress, Una paused, frowned, then waited a moment or two more. Something wasn't right. She might not have been able to put a finger on it exactly, but the air felt odd, heavy. There weren't any objects out of place in the room; it was just as she'd always left it. She continued changing despite the pressing feeling that either she had forgotten something important or that something very bad was going to happen. Then she realized.
She turned around toward the bathroom door and found a round eye staring back at her. "Oh, no." The shower's water had stopped running ages ago. That was the problem--everything was too quiet. She knelt down part way so that she was on the same level as Merida. "You haven't made a peep--scared into silence? Or just determined to get out of this on your own?" A small peal of laughter erupted from her, but she quickly quelled it. "Sorry. I forgot to mention the lock gets a bit stuck sometimes. You need to--er, if it's really, really stuck, you need someone to get the door from the outside or else hop on out through the window." She smiled apologetically, still trying not to laugh. "You should have called for me." There was a very real chance Una could have gone the rest of the evening without realizing her company had disappeared.
