Void

Your element is NOTHING. You are void, numb and worn out. Be it that the world has been unfair, or you have self sabotaged yourself. You can redeem yourself and come back to be 'you'. But you can't keep making excuses for yourself. And you can't keep letting others hold more value. You need to feel. You need to be self aware. This isn't cute, this isn't funny. You need to pull yourself out of this void. You NEED to. Find life, find purpose, find YOU

To clarify, I did this test about four times. First round he got darkness, then void, then fire and now void again. There’s truth in all of these results but, apparently, void resonates with him most. And I’m inclined to agree, actually.

ABOUT POST-WAR/ADULT SASUKE

ooc -- So first of all, Hiatus should be done with. At least for the next couple of days. 

But more importantly, Kana showed me a fanfic and it blew my fucking mind. It made me reconsider some things that I’ve decided to glance over for the most part. So I will now address something that I think is crucial for my portrayal of post-war Sasuke.

I, by default, do not treat the anime as canon. I adhere to the manga, part of the novels and my own interpretations/headcanons. Adding to this, the scene of Sasuke in a straight-jacket is not in the manga. Hence my Sasuke hasn’t experienced this sort of treatment. I will soon add a verse where he has, though please bear in mind that this Sasuke will be vastly different from the one I have portrayed up until now and that the verse in itself will be highly triggering and angst-heavy, including mind-break, mental, physical and emotional abuse as well as occasions of non-con.  

My post-war Sasuke has been interrogated, yes, but he’s never been tortured. He has not been to prision for an extended period of time but for a few days. Mostly under house- or village-arrest respectively, he is allowed to have visitors, he is handled with respect and dignity before being pardoned not too many months after the war. He sets out on a journey because he wants to distance himself from Konoha and also see things from a different perspective. He wants to experience the world free from manipulation for once in his life.  

He is loyal to his important people, NOT to Konoha. He protects Konoha because he believes in Naruto and the change he has promised to bring about as Hokage. 

However, in canon, this change doesn’t fully come about. There is peace between the hidden villages, children do not experience war. This is what adult Sasuke wants to protect, as well as, again, his important people. But Itachi’s truth hasn’t been revealed, at least not to our knowledge. The injust treatment of the Uchiha has never again been as much as mentioned. 

My Sasuke cannot possibly be content with this. Which is why, from now on, threads in adult verse must be plotted! Maybe all this has happened off-panel, I can live with that. But I need to know whether or not it has happened at all before writing a thread in adult verse. Please note that Sasuke’s character will be vastly different depending on the answer. It will also heavily influence his relationship with Naruto. 

Whether ot not he is willing to fight for the village---or any village at all---is solely based on how the villages treat him, his family and his clan for the afore-mentioned reasons.

Monaka let out a small sigh as she entered the room, wheeling in next to Miaya. Future Foundation Headquarters was extremely boring – at least this was something new. Useless, maybe, seeing as there was no hope for her anyways, but new nonetheless.

She didn’t hate Future Foundation anymore – not like she used to, at least. She knew now that Junko didn’t love her and that she never cared at all. The Future Foundation helped her realize that, and she wasn’t sure whether she should be grateful or not. She still loved Junko, deep down, but she knew now that she couldn’t ever be like her. She knew she needed to give up in order to survive. Future Foundation would kill her if she tried anything, she knew that much.

                   They had been reluctant enough to keep her alive.

Usami, huh? She was cute, and right away Monaka knew this might be more tolerable than she’d thought. A half-hearted smile as she took the doll, lightly running her fingers over its ears. It was soft and honestly was kind of comforting. She liked Usami.

“Yeah, Monaka likes them a lot. Every kid does, I guess.” Her voice was quiet and she didn’t see any point in keeping up her facade right now. Fake smiles would probably be transparent to someone like Miaya, she figured. The more honest she was, the faster they could get this over with.

                                 “I used to bake sometimes.”

          The faces of her friends – ex-friends, she guessed – popped into her mind, and whatever trace of a smile that she had faded away, guilt forming a pit in her stomach. She pushed the thought back and continued. “And I draw every once in a while. I’m not very good, but it’s still kind of fun. I used to draw lots of robots for blueprints and everything.”
