Shae grinned when he asked about her aunt. “Not at all! She lives a short drive away! She runs her own Ranch, she actually took care of Cora for a while before she moved to another country.” The female began, holding her hands in front of herself like an excited child. “She is tough, smart, and very protective! She actually used to be in a gang before she moved! My aunt was one of the greatest!” Shae concluded, bouncing on her feet lightly.
“S-Sorry, it’s just that whenever someone asks about her I go on a rant, gushing about how great she is.” The brunette giggled softly, rubbing her neck.
“Ah, really? Is that where Cora got to ride horses and all?” Pat was quite taken in by this information. Since he had no relatives, this was all new to him. The more he could learn, the better. “I’m glad you have a relative you can see a little more often...”
It was low-key, yes, but he couldn’t help but be a bit envious. Then again, since most of his emotions were quite subtle when he needed them to be, it was nearly impossible to see on his face. “By chance, were you... thinking of visiting her again soon? You seem really excited suddenly and you’ve never mentioned your aunt to me before until now... so it’s just a guess.”
