It was one hell of a landing Mercuria had. It was her first official assassination without Emerald in quite a while to be honest. Unfortunately, some unknown scout must have tipped Mantle off when the airship she managed to sneak on was shot down. Mercuria made it away from the wreckage, but her legs would need major repair and if they shot them down, they must know why she was here. She looked up past the snow- the damn cold as hell blizzard, and saw Ash.

The sun shone on Mercuria’s face, waking her up. Was it that time already? It seemed the boss and her friend were already up and about, as she didn’t see them. Just Emerald. The quaint little cabin they’d taken refuge in felt that much bigger now.

“Oh. You’re still here. Hey, while you’re up, mind getting me a coffee and maybe some waffles? If we don’t have syrup, forget about it, though.”

All her jest did was make her hungry, unfortunately.

Whether Mercuria was just trying to stir up trouble or meant every word of what she said, it was hard to tell. Probably a mix of both. She was known to be fairly selfish and territorial but also loved screwing with people. Especially women with the first name prefix of ‘Em’ it seemed.

Mercuria tried her best not to snicker at Jaune’s implication, unable to resist rolling her eyes. Looking him up and down briefly, she couldn’t help but think of the all-too-many times his mind must have gone swimming through the gutter. Granted, she couldn’t blame him, Mercuria thought herself quite attractive. Still...

“Please, if how much you stare at something is how ‘interesting’ something is to you then- kid- you must think my chest is a map to where the relics are hidden and my ass is the finish line.”
