Caught red handed || Leo & Lucy
Falling to the floor Leo for a moment assumed he was under attack, his fox ears and tail shooting up, fluffed out and flicking with fright and surprise. He sat there for just a moment, watching the other move to the window, obviously less concerned with Leo and more the fact that he had for all intents ruined his sheets.
“I… am a monster…” he admitted honestly, he was considered a Dark Spawn, the darkness only nature could provide to the world. But just because he was a monster it didn’t mean he was evil. He killed only when it was the right thing to do, and the worst he could do to the living was in their dreams and only in their dreams.
“B-but I’m not the o-only one here…” he picked himself up and went to find something to get the blood off his hands without having to shower - he hated water - and eventually just settled on wiping off on the sheet that was going to have to be disposed of.
“H-honestly… I’m a hero c-compared to some…” he shuddered to think of the vampires and demons that killed for fun of all things. Leo killed for revenge or self defense only. And he didn’t take any pleasure in the act.
“This place… i-is supposed to protect th-the world from us… a-and teach us how to… blend in… I don’t blend in n-no matter how hard I try… though…”
So it was pretty much a prison created for the creatures that didn’t know how to survive in the wild world. A place they were taught to believe was their home, but at the same time it limited them, created rules and chose who was better and who was worse. Because in the world created by his beloved Father, humans ruled. And they have decided there was no way that mortals and so called monsters could coexist. The only reason a place like this had to be created for.
“Let me tell you something, kid...”
- Lucifer finally spoke up.
“Monsters are mindless beasts, who can’t control their actions.
And as much as you were crude, I don’t believe your act wasn’t
given much thought. Well... maybe you lack some tact and skills
but...”
-he shruged.
“I thought you’d say that the mortal you have killed was a monster.
Or are you comparing yourself to him?”
The blonde folded his hands. He was still towering above the chesire, who sat back down. Even if Leo was standing, the aura surrounding Lucifer would have made him seem taller, although his vessel was shorter than the male.
A hero, he was not, but then he wasn’t even half as bad as the creatures, who believed that world belonged to them, creatures who believed tyranny was the right solution to everyday problems. The immortals, who believed they were better when they were in fact just as insignificant as mortals.
“Is that your school’s rule? To blend in?
