Her heart skipped a beat and she closed her eyes a little then nodded a bit, as much as she wanted to retain as much of her dignity as she could; there was really not another option. “Alright,” she whispered softly, “Put in a good word, it’s all I got left - I was pushed you know? Off the truck; someone pushed me it’s why I fell,” while she had no idea who pushed her, she felt the hands on her. It was a deliberate action that caused this mess, her whole life was turned upside down now. Finding her brother was out of the question. She didn’t even know if he was alive, the last she saw he was being beaten by the governor but she’d had to defend the people on the bus - she’d send Michonne heading out to the field anyway. If she’d of been able to she would be with him right now - but he was hopefully alive.
