Emma turned out the engine of the bug and let out a sign. Everything was becoming too much for her and she needed a place to stay. And since her parents’ apartment and Hook’s ship were out of the question she chose to be alone in her bug, close to the shore. It was sound and somehow calming. Although her mind was racing and it wasn’t calm in her head.
“Fuck.” She hit the steering wheel and a blast of magic erupted from her fingertips and bumped into the front windshield. It wasn’t that powerful to break it but it was enough to startle the woman. But what if they trace her by her magic? It was always like this when she was being emotional and yet it was never connected to Hook. Somehow it was all connected to Regina and that scared the blonde even more.
And right now she was at the outskirts of Storybrooke almost trying to escape her own messed up feelings. But there was no escape. They’ve been there in quite a while and Hook’s proposal for anything more than kissing just made them surface and hit her hard in the face.
In that moment, when he asked for more, she couldn’t imagine letting anyone but Regina’s magical fingers on her skin. She brushed off the idea of having his arm and hook holding her hips, pulling her towards him. Sure she was the Evil Queen but she has made her into the strong woman she was today. Sure, she was Snow’s step-mother, but Regina was not related to her by blood. The age difference wasn’t a bother too for her heart which skipped few beats every time green eyes laid on the brunette or for her stomach which was doing flips every time Robin was near her.
But she had no right to say anything, not she had the right to continue things with Hook now that she was aware of her true feelings.
Her thoughts were stopped by a tap on the window and her heart nearly jumped out of her chest. She bumped her head at the ceiling of the car which reminded her that she should consider another one. Rubbing the top of her head she turned and saw Regina, hovering.
“Shit, Regina, you scared the living shit out of me.” She said, completely forgetting that she might not be heard through the glass.
