“The size of..my heart..?” Was it really all that big a thing to be ‘envious’ about? Okita wasn’t exactly all that different, she’s mostly kind...what was so different about him? All he does is give everyone the benefit of the doubt, is that really what made him different? No, there’s probably a bigger reason to it than that - every Servant he’s met so far seems to have different views about him, but all of them somehow end with mutual respect or friendships.
With a smile, Ritsuka nods his head to the Saber. “I’ll take that as a compliment, but Okita - there really isn’t anything to envy me for. I just..wanted to save humanity, but here we are, on the brink of the whole world being lost.” Rubbing the back of his head, he laughs sheepishly. “Well, if there’s something you envy my heart for - I hope you keep helping us out for it. There’s a lot we couldn’t do without your help.” Every Servant was helpful to him, even the ones who thought of themselves as ineffective.. Maybe that’s what Okita meant about him?
