Ladaral knows how to speak Common (King’s Tongue, Trade Common, whatever you want to call it), Elvhen, and a form of Sign Language fluently. I recognize that there are many different variations, but Ladaral is adaptive and can pick up on the differences from the original form he knew and whatever it would have developed into in the Dragon Age and among different cultures. He employed all of these when treating his patients, as some were mute, HoH, Deaf, etc. for one reason or another, and so many languages were a useful knowledge to have. A modified version of the SL that he learned was also used when spying to communicate to people on the rebellion’s side, at least among his students, and it involved far less movement, many of the positions were lower, much was short-hand, and very subtle gestures could be passed off as any regular ticks done during conversation.
