BAU BACKGROUND
After the Winter Soldier escaped, Lise was reassigned to the BAU to study and practice profiling as well as interrupt HYDRA specific investigations as Spencer Reid.
Different from CM’s canon Spencer Reid as his actual background and physical conditions are according to his mainverse, he is an experienced military sniper and medic who uses his eidetic memory more practically than theoretically such as memorizing crime scenes rather than data and statistics.
His background was amended by HYDRA to show that he was raised by his father as his schizophrenic mother was unfit to do so and he had 2 years of exemplary military service before requesting for a transfer. He was then recommended to the BAU by a high ranking military officer. FBI is then forced to accept his transfer in regardless if they wanted to or not.

SPENCER'S TWIN
Back when William and Diana Reid were trying for a child back in the early days of their marriage, they discovered they had difficulty conceiving and opted for reproduction aid. The suggested method was in vitro fertilisation and they had to fill in and sign a clause form that asked how many children they wanted and what should happen if there were more, due to natural cell division possibilities.
While they were financially comfortable, they were not certain how well they could handle a child, much less more. Hence they chose to have only one and that should the cell be divided while still as a blastocyst, rather than further down the pregnancy - in which case they would keep them, the other cell may be donated for scientific research. They trusted the organisation to be ethical as they had done extensive background checks on it before selecting their service.
After producing the fertilised egg, the blastocyst did split before they implanted it in Diana. The organisation then cryogenically froze the extra cell, till several years later when they discovered young Spencer bearing traits of a genius. They then decided to donate Spencer’s twin cell to another couple who agreed to participate in the experiment, which was to see if the twin would be exactly the same as Spencer in terms of development despite the change in environment.
Taken in by the wealthy Vuhs family and named Lise, the boy grew up in a politically charged household with ivy league education and activities. However due to his father’s political interests, he ended up joining the military, making a roundabout way in life to being an artillery instructor after withdrawing from field.
